Donate Your Time

01

Foster parent and volunteer trainer

Some of our pups need foster parents before partnering with a veteran. This can be a long-term, time-consuming commitment. Foster parents must bring the dogs to training sessions once a week for up to 30 weeks.

03

Build and repair training equipment

Are you handy with building things like ramps or grooming tables or putting up gates? How about doing minor repairs like replacing light switches or repairing fences? If so, we need your help!

02

Short-term home for dogs in training

Temporarily house and care for a pup during a weekend or longer when a foster parent goes out of town or has an emergency. This is perfect for someone who can’t make the time commitment to be a foster parent.

04

Event support

We need volunteers to help us at our 5K9 Dog Jog including administrative and management, PR specialists, CPAs and accountants, event planners, and general project volunteers.

Ready to get started?

Read our volunteer handbook and complete your application. We'll be in touch!
