SECRETARY

My Story

Originally from Wausau, a small community in central Wisconsin, Colin Belton is currently a sophomore at Duke University studying Neuroscience and History. Colin has extensive experience supporting veterans and has witnessed the debilitating effects of PTSD firsthand. Fueled by a strong passion for improving the lives of veterans, Colin successfully fostered and trained three service dogs as a volunteer puppy raiser/trainer for Patriot K9s of Wisconsin. He also served as a member of the Patriot K9s Junior Board, earning the President’s Gold Volunteer Award two years in a row. Colin brings extensive leadership experience, and a fresh youth-driven perspective that he hopes to leverage to expand the mission of Vets to Vets United.
